Rules of Riding
- It’s the law, passengers must wear seatbelts.
- Your driver will wait for 5 minutes after arrival. If after five minutes the rider hasn’t boarded the vehicle, they will be marked as a No-Show.
- Riders who habitually violate the No-Show policy are subject to suspension of service.
- No bikes permitted at this time.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Car seats and booster seats must be brought if needed.
GRTC LINK No-Show Policy
To better serve our LINK riders, GRTC has instituted a LINK No-Show policy. A No-Show occurs when a passenger does not board the vehicle within five minutes of the vehicle’s arrival for a scheduled ride. LINK operators will wait five (5) minutes for a passenger to board the vehicle. If after five minutes the rider hasn’t boarded the vehicle, they will be marked as a No-Show, and the operator will proceed with the schedule.
Riders who habitually violate the No-Show policy are subject to suspension of service. Each time a rider “No-Shows” four (4) times within a 30-day period, service will be suspended.
- First violation will result in a 3-day service suspension.
- Second violation will result in a 7-day service suspension.
- Third violation will result in a 14-day service suspension.
- Fourth violation will result in a 30-day service suspension.
When applicable, LINK riders will receive a mobile app message when service is suspended. Riders with no mobile app will receive a phone call notification of their suspension.
A service suspension may be appealed to GRTC’s Mobility Manager upon notice of the suspension. A review will be conducted, and a decision will be made within three (3) business days upon receipt of the appeal.
Please review trip information before accepting the proposed trip through the Mobile App or when booking through a GRTC agent. This will help to reduce any potential No-Show occurrences.
