Saturday Service Detours: September 12

Run Richmond 16.19

Several GRTC routes will be detoured on Saturday, September 12, from 4 a.m. to 3 p.m. due to the Run Richmond 16.19 event and related street closures in downtown Richmond.

Additionally a community event in Mosby Court will also impact Route 5 service from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Riders should allow additional travel time and check the Transit app for the latest service information.

During the Run Richmond 16.19 event, riders should expect bus stops within the downtown event area — generally between Canal and Broad streets and Belvidere and 14th streets — to be temporarily out of service.

Affected routes include 1, 1A/B/C, 2A/B/C, 3A/B/C, 5, 14, 50, 78, 87 and Pulse.

The Downtown Transfer Station will reopen at the start of service Saturday following the completion of repaving and concrete improvements.

The following stops will not be serviced:
