October 14, 2026
GRTC News
GRTC is excited to announce that applications are now open for the Rider Advisory Council (RAC), a volunteer advisory group of ten riders from Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield, and Petersburg who share their experiences and perspectives to help strengthen transit service across the region. Applications are due Monday, November 16.
Council members provide feedback on GRTC projects, plans, and initiatives, helping ensure that riders’ voices are represented in transit decision-making. To be eligible, applicants must use at least one of GRTC’s public transit services, including Pulse, local bus routes, express routes, or LINK microtransit.
The council meets four times a year, and members can serve up to three one-year terms.
