Bus routes 2A & 20 detour on Saturday, March 7, 2026

Due to the 2026 Virginia Credit Union River City Half & 5K, Routes 2A and 20 will operate on detours beginning at 5:00 AM on Saturday, March 7, until the race concludes and streets reopen. Riders should expect delays both both routes, and route 2A will also have temporary stop closures along the race course.

There will be no intermediate stops for Route 2A on Forest Hill Ave between Melbourne Drive and Fairlee Road. Detours are in effect from 5:00AM – 1:00PM.

Temporary Stop Closures for Route 2A

  • Bus stop #989 at Forest Hill + Windsorview Drive
  • Stop #989 at Forest Hill + Woodberry Lane
  • Stops #974 & #975 Forest Hill + Rettig Road
