We created the advisory groups to get your feedback so we can improve all GRTC services and make the overall experience better for everyone. Openings for new group members are posted on our website and social media.
CARE Advisory Committee
CARE Advisory Committee (CAC) members share their personal experiences with CARE and provide feedback on service, communications, and major projects in addition to helping champion GRTC’s paratransit initiatives.
This group is made of members who regularly use CARE or provide care for people who use it, and they meet four times a year to formally submit feedback and suggestions.

Rider Advisory Council
The Rider Advisory Council (RAC) is a volunteer advisory council to the Greater Richmond Transit Company (GRTC). RAC is made up of 10 riders from Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield, and Petersburg who use GRTC buses and microtransit. The RAC works with GRTC leadership to share ideas and feedback that help shape better transit solutions.
Members share their voices to support a strong public transit system for our region. The group meets four times a year, and members can serve up to three one-year terms.
