Your Ride, Your Way – Now on Richmond’s Southside
This October, GRTC is expanding flexible, on-demand transit to even more neighbors and destinations with the launch of the new Broad Rock LINK Microtransit Zone.
Come celebrate with us! The Broad Rock LINK Ribbon Cutting happens Tuesday, October 21 at 2 p.m. at T.B. Smith Community Center, 2009 Ruffin Rd.
The Broad Rock LINK Zone connects riders to key community destinations, including:
- Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center
- Southside Plaza
- Sitter and Barefoot Veterans Care Center
- Broad Rock Elementary & Thomas C. Boushall Middle School
- Parnell and Broad Rock Industrial Areas
- Amazon Fulfillment Center
- Philip Morris USA
- Big Apple Supermarket
Broad Rock LINK Service Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 5:30 AM – 11 PM
- Saturday: 6 AM – 7 PM

As part of this addition, Route 88 will be replaced in 2026, when LINK will provide full coverage of the service area.
