Support Our Mission at Deep Run Roadhouse Charity Night on August 20
Mark your calendars and bring your appetite! We’re excited to partner with Deep Run Roadhouse for a special Charity Night fundraiser on Wednesday, August 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Dine at Deep Run Roadhouse during the event and place your receipt in our designated donation box located next to the register. At the end of the night, Deep Run Roadhouse will generously donate 15% of the total value of all receipts placed in our box to support open access transit!
Can’t stay to eat? You can still help! Customers who place online orders for pickup can also participate. When you arrive to pick up your order, simply place your receipt in our donation box to ensure your purchase is included.
Want to learn more about the impact of open access? Riders and community voices share what public transit makes possible in their lives and why a strong transit system matters to the entire region in the video below:
We hope you’ll join us on August 20 to enjoy great barbecue and help GRTC and RideFinders remove transportation barriers and connect people across the Richmond region to jobs, education, healthcare, and essential services.
TAP Fundraising Series
Through the Transit Access Partnership (TAP), GRTC brings together public, private, and community partners to keep transit accessible for everyone while strengthening workforce mobility, economic growth, and regional connectivity. By partnering with local businesses to host shopping nights, restaurant givebacks, and other fundraising events, we’re creating opportunities for community members to support a more connected and accessible transportation network.
From shopping nights to restaurant givebacks, each event helps support open access transit for our community. Thank you for helping us build a more connected Richmond, and we’ll see you at Deep Run Roadhouse!
Together We Can Maintain Open Access Transit
GRTC needs $6.8 million each year to sustain access to transportation without charging fares. The program is supported by advertising revenue, grants, and fundraising through the Transit Access Partnership (TAP). You can make a donation online at any time, and your gift directly supports open access to public transportation.
