Transit Access Partnership

A regional initiative led by GRTC to ensure long-term support for Open Access Transit in Central Virginia, TAP brings together public, private, and nonprofit partners around a shared mission: to expand access to opportunity by keeping transit open, simple, and accessible for everyone.

Advertising Program

One hundred percent of the proceeds from advertising goes to Open Access Transit. GRTC’s advertising program has a far-reaching impact to broad audiences. The mobility of transit vehicles allows for extensive geographical coverage and exposure to individuals on and off transit vehicles. Transit bus stops span the region and have exposure to riders and non-riders.

Join Us for TAP Into Transit Day

TAP into Transit Day engages riders and community members to celebrate the progress our region has made in Open Access Transit. This community-driven event will bring together regional leaders, local partners, and GRTC riders to spotlight the impact of public transportation across the region.
