Transfers
If
the bus you are riding does not travel to your desired destination,
switch to another bus to get there. Our transfer system is
simple if you keep these tips in mind:
 |
Transfers
are usually completed at the first connecting point for
the two or more routes needed to complete your trip.
|
 |
Ask
the operator for a transfer slip when you board the first
bus. This transfer is good for 90 minutes from the time
of issue. (see fees below)
|
 |
Transfer
fees must be paid when the bus fare is paid.
|
 |
Keep
your transfer slip to present to the operator of the next
bus. |
Transfers:
15¢
Transfers must be purchased at the time your fare is
paid. Transfers are not accepted or issued on the 96
Richmond/Fredericksburg Express.
Senior/Disabled and CARE customers with valid ID receive
a free transfer on all Local Routes.
When transferring to another bus, you must present your transfer
and pay the difference in fare between the 1st and 2nd buses.
